i signed up too 'cos you have to start somewhere don't you.

I reckon that if a national campaign was started where everyone boycotted ALL but one petrol manufacturer
i.e. SHELL for a week or so,,, the others would seriously start to lose business
Then they would have to reduce their prices to get the customers back which would in turn start a new price war
I know for a fact that petrol stations don't make a lot of money on petrol (it is between 1.5 and 4.5 pence per litre)
depending on where the station is.
Garages make their money on the rest of the crap they sell (especially sandwiches) always a 200% mark-up here
The government take about 70% of the money You pay for petrol in tax..
Petrol cost's on average is ?4.77p to ?5.05p per gallon and a lot of technology goes into producing the stuff
Beer cost's about ?16.00p per gallon you throw a few hops into some water wait a while and there it is

WHERE THE HELL IS THE LOGIC IN THAT????
