Friendly tonight..

If you can get on Teamspeak that'll be good. We'll use the CPS/BK teamspeak and shift into one of the cod4 rooms.

As a first match we'll none of us really be sure what to do. What I suggest is that we work as 2 squads.
If we divide basically with BK guys as one squad and CPS as the other that keeps it simple.

When we spawn or respawn BK squad always work to the left and CPS to the right.
We'll have to improvise as we go along but I think the 2-squad pincer attack is a good starting point.

Any suggestions guys?

Barry, if you've not tried this already for your TS woes...

Start the game then use ctrl-alt-del to minimise it.
Open your volume controls and check if your mic has been muted or volume turned down.
If it has then try resetting it while the game is running as cod4 may only try to change it when it first starts up.

All players, before you join this modded server I would suggest you back up your player data.
I noticed last night that it resets your weapon class names and also deletes your 'favourites' from the server list.

XP players, look for a folder with your player name. In Program Files/Activision/Call of Duty 4/Players/Profiles
In there you should see a folder named for your game nic. Copy and paste that *entire* folder to a backup location. Once the match is over you can copy it back and it should restore all your current settings.

I will have sound but no voice on TS ... same apply's to SW Jr.

We will be able to talk with each other though - so I will keep him on the right.
(I was thinking of him sneaking about & lying low for the most)

Will be a tad late starting as I need to go collect the Dan from Saltash - he been gliding but we will both be on asap)

Was a good game ... I think we done quite well considering that we had naff comms, pc crashes & were a bit shellshocked at times.

Dan (SpiritwalkerJR) loved the whole experience, thought he didn't do too badly for his first ever online "serious" match lol.

We need to get the comms & some tactics sorted if we are gonna do this sort of thin regularly.
