The guys that make the rules are owned by the guys that run big business.

They like cheap labour.

It's not going to change unfortunately. It certainly should, but it won't.

Personally, I'd set a limit on all state benefits. If you come to this country and after 5 years you're not paying your own way then you're OUT. No excuses, no legal nonsense, no exceptions.

Anyone that wants to work and improve their life is fine by me. Obey the laws, pay your taxes, make a contribution to our society. That's OK. Don't expect us to change our ways to suit you. Learn to speak english, that's the language of this country. You want to live here, you better learn it.

Those first 5 years all incomers should be on probation. Break any major laws and again, you're out. We've got enough home-grown villains and don't need to import more.

Other than that, welcome to the UK, a fully-owned subsidiary of Euroland plc..

As i said i'm not a racist or anti immigration and what you say is absolutely right david
with a small exception..
to enter the UK you must:-

1) Make you application to come to the UK from the country you live in.

2) Not arrive here in the uk and expect all us tax payers to foot the bill to pay for you while our worse than usless government sort it out.

3) You must have at least a small command of the English Language.

4) Have enough money with you or, available to you (not our goverment money) to sustain you to live here for at least 1 year.

5)Only be allowed into the UK if you can bring something with you that will benefit all

when i brought my wife Inna from Russia, the government said i could have NO ACCESS TO GOVERNMENT FUNDS FOR 5 YEARS, i had to wholly maintain her myself ,,and right too in my opinion
as it was my decision to bring her here.

Too many people see this country as a cheap meal ticket. they come here,, go through the system then disappear into the background.
if they dont have the right to be here then Richard Branson should be called and a plane hired to ship the B****ds back to where they came from it would be a lot cheaper to hire an airplane than to foot the bill to finance thier stay here in the UK (you could get rid of 600 at a time)

We should be a bit more like Australia DONT LET THEM IN ...IN THE FIRST PLACE
